Trip Report
CBS Midlands Chapter
South Congaree is near Lexington. In the morning we went to the property
called Laurel Graydon owned by Donna Denton. In the afternoon we went to
the
property of the late Clara Mack now owned by her daughter and
son-in-law,
Annie Laura and Edwin Corley.
In attendance were Tommie Moody, Elaine Stonecypher and Dave and Marty Kastner.
Morning at Laurel Graydon:
As we pulled up we saw a Red-spotted Purple ovipositing on cherry. We saw
more caterpillars than butterflies.
