About
our activities:
Meetings
– Triad chapter program and business meetings usually are on the second
Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. during the colder months. We plan to rotate
locations throughout the Triad (Greensboro / High Point / Winston-Salem area) as
much as possible. Typically, we will not have indoor meetings during June, July,
and August, conducting whatever chapter business that may be necessary at
butterfly walks.
Butterfly
walks – We plan to have at least one
butterfly walk each month during the butterflying season to a garden, park, or
similar public area. Usually our outings alternate between Saturday mornings and
Sunday afternoons. Generally, they will last about 2.5 to 3 hours in length. In
addition, we plan to have one or two field trips to more distant locations such
as the Blue Ridge Parkway. All activities are open to the public and are
suitable for novices and older children unless announced otherwise. CBS members
from areas outside the Triad are especially invited to attend.
